Shadow Calendar 21-22

We are offering both in person and virtual shadowing opportunities. Shadowing invites EIGHT GRADERS to observe a typical school day at Notre Dame High School. For students who shadow in person the day includes going to classes with a freshman hostess, lunch from our daily food provider, and social time chatting with current students at break and lunch. Students must be FULLY VACCINATED in order to shadow in person. **By selecting an in person shadow event you are self-certifying that the student attending will be fully vaccinated by the date of your visit.** Additionally, Notre Dame students participate in walking field trips on a regular basis so shadows must have permission to attend a potential field trip with the visited class. All students will be masked and teachers will ensure proper risk mitigation in both the classroom and during the field trip. For students who shadow in the VIRTUAL environment on October 15th the day will include building your own schedule and watching "day in the life of videos" made by students, interacting with current students through Q&A and conversation, and virtually attending our Women of Impact event with our guest speakers. If you select a date in September, your Notre Dame hostess will be a sophomore Ambassador. If you select a date in October-November, your Notre Dame hostess will be a Notre Dame freshman.
